Which blockchain has the lowest fees for receiving swapped stablecoins right now
Right now, Solana has the lowest fees for receiving swapped stablecoins. Receive-side costs on Solana are typically a fraction of a cent per transaction, compared to several dollars on Ethereum and smaller but still nonzero fees on BNB Chain, Polygon, or Tron.

You send from your own wallet straight to the exchanger — nothing to connect, no account, and you stay on this page throughout. Rates are indicative until a swap is opened.
The swap is carried out by an independent exchanger and the deposit address above is theirs. aidancingcat.xyz never holds, receives or controls your funds, has no key to that address, and earns a referral commission. Opening a swap sends your receiving address, IP, browser and timezone to the exchanger for their compliance checks; we store none of it. Check their terms, fees and country restrictions before sending anything.
Why Solana wins on the receive side is straightforward. A receiving transaction is only one operation: the blockchain must credit your wallet with the token. That operation costs the blockchain’s base fee for a simple transfer, plus whatever the token contract charges (usually a negligible amount). Solana’s base fee is fixed at 0.000005 SOL per signature, which at current SOL prices is roughly 0.0005 USD. Even if you need two signatures (some wallet setups require one for approval and one for the transfer), the total is still under a cent.
Other blockchains that compete on low fees for simple transfers include:
- BNB Chain - Base fee per transfer is about 0.00015 BNB, which is roughly 0.05 - 0.08 USD. That is cheap, but an order of magnitude more than Solana.
- Polygon - Around 0.001 MATIC per transfer, or about 0.0006 USD. Very close to Solana, but Polygon’s gas price can spike during network congestion, while Solana’s fee stays flat.
- Tron - A USDT transfer on Tron costs approximately 0.2 - 0.5 USD in TRX, depending on network load. That is higher than Solana, Polygon, or BNB Chain.
- Ethereum - Even a simple USDC transfer costs 15 - 40 USD when the network is busy, and rarely below 5 USD.
The catch is that you cannot receive swapped stablecoins on Solana unless the swap itself also happens on Solana. If you swap on Ethereum and then want to receive the stablecoin on Solana, you are not “receiving” a swap output; you are initiating a cross-chain bridge or a second swap. That second step carries its own fees, and the total cost may be higher than receiving on Ethereum directly.
The question specifically asks about receiving after a swap. Many users swap volatile tokens for stablecoins, then leave the stablecoin on the same chain. If you swap on Ethereum, the receive fee on Ethereum is the same as sending the stablecoin to your own address - expensive. If you swap on Solana, the receive fee is negligible. So the lowest-fee route is: swap on Solana, receive on Solana.
If you are on Ethereum and want to move the stablecoin to a low-fee chain after the swap, you must factor in the bridge cost. Bridging USDC from Ethereum to Solana currently costs roughly 5 - 10 USD in bridge fees plus Ethereum gas for the initial transaction. That total exceeds receiving on Ethereum directly for small amounts. For large amounts (above roughly 2,000 USD), bridging can be cheaper than Ethereum’s receive fee, but that is a different calculation.
The hub page “Swapping into and out of stablecoins” covers the full decision tree of when to swap on a high-fee chain versus moving to a low-fee chain first.
One nuance: fee levels change week to week. Ethereum’s gas price sometimes drops to 10 gwei, making a receive transaction cost about 3 USD. Solana’s fee stays constant. Polygon’s fee rises only during NFT mints or DeFi events. For the purpose of “right now,” check current gas prices on a block explorer before committing to a route. The answer above reflects typical conditions in late 2024.
No blockchain charges zero fees. Solana gets closest for simple token receives, but the swap itself must occur there. If your swap is on a different chain, the receive fee on that chain is what matters.
